Founder: Jesica Malhotra
Jesica Malhotra is the founder and key activist at Pehel Initiatives. She is responsible for the initiatives and the projects that Pehel is undertaking. Despite only being 18 years old, she has been a part of several projects involved in community welfare.
A Zonal Interact Representative of the Rotary International, President of the SpicMacay Cultural Society, General Secretary of the Modern School Environment Club; she wears several hats.
She has also been responsible for conceptualizing, organizing and executing an eye care and dental camp for the Tier 3 employees of her Alma Mater, in association with the We Care Foundation. This initiative has led to the diagnosis and subsequent surgery of 2 cataract patients which would have otherwise gone unnoticed. She has also been the energy behind a series of blood donation camps.
She has been active with social projects for several years and is hoping to make Pehel Initiative a vehicle for directed development and initiate more ongoing programs.
